Steady Racing times sporting events using RFID technology.  Accurate and professional.

What kind of races?

Run, Bike, Triathlon, scavenger hunts, stair climbs, you name it. Keenly interested in creative format races. Will work with you to have a unique race.

Is my event too small? No!

Here are some examples of races we do:

  • 1000 Person bike rally, 10k, 5k, fun run, unhappy run
  • 500 person campus wide scavenger hunt race
  • 30 Person Running club happy hour run
There are a lot of interesting ways you can use timing equipment outside the conventional time and splits of races.  If you are a race director, on a race committee or event organizer let Steady Racing work with you to make a timing and scoring package perfect for your event.
We are keenly interested in opportunities for “unusual” races that are more than just an A to B run.  If you have a novel race you are looking to score we will go out of our way to make it happen.
Results:
Steady Racing makes results entertaining.  How did your time compare to the fastest person of the opposite gender?  Where were you at on the 10K course when the world record holder would have finished?  Could you have beaten a kangaroo?
The more data you can collect from your participants the more fun you can have presenting their results.  Want to graphically chart finishing times by age, t-shirt or shoe size?

Area Served:

North Texas.  Anywhere within a rough 100 miles of DFW will be serviced with no mileage expenses added on.

We can do  a Dash in Dallas, a Foxtrot in Ft Worth, a Five-K in Frisco, a Bike Rally in Benbrook, a Marathon in Muenster, a Sprint in Sanger, a Course in Commerce, a Meet in Mesquite, a Race in Richardson, a Scurry in Sachse, a Chase in Carrollton, a Half in Haltom City, a Ten-K in Tyler, a Relay in Rockwall, a Prance in Plano, a Duathlon in Decatur, a Mud Run in McKinney, a Triathlon in Terrell … and on and on.

Disposable chip or reusable?:

Race directors have to decide whether they want their timing chips to be disposable or reusable.  Steady Timing has options for both.  Disposable chips come attached to race bibs.  This streamlines race organization and minimize volunteer manpower.  Reusable chips attach to shoe or ankle and minimize environmental impact and have a much lower per-runner cost.  We realize mistakes happen and chips get lost.  That’s why there are no huge deposits and lost chip fees only apply if less than 90% of chips are collected at finish line.
